Wayne Culver was born in Long Beach, California, and lived in the Southern California area until age 21. He then relocated to Orlando as part of the grand opening team for Walt Disney World and continued working in the Disney organization for 39+ years as an Operations Manager and executive. Wayne also served in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a See-Bee during the late 1960’s Viet Nam era. He retired from full-time service at Disney in 2005, when he began his full time position as Pastor of Missions and Family Life Groups at SWCLC. Wayne’s Disney resume includes assignments in Paris, Hong Kong, Anaheim, and Orlando. Wayne has been married to Patsy for 32 years; they have two children and two grandchildren living in Haines City. Wayne and family came to SWCLC in the very early days while our church was still meeting in temporary facilities. He invests liberal time developing and teaching leadership training classes for SWCLC leaders. Wayne loves family time, and mission work, and he has participated in mission assignments in Haiti, Mexico, Peru, and numerous local and regional locations.
